When I tell someone that I'm a real estate agent, the conversation inevitably turns to real estate. One of the things that surprises me most is the amount of appreehension people have when it comes to buying or selling for the first time. When I explain the process to them (come in and meet, I expain it all, no obligations, no up front costs, we do all the work, you end up happy) they either don't believe me, think I'm selling something (am I?) or set up a meeting. For example, I just helped a buyer get into a loft in Gastown, and his response was 'well that was easy'. It really is that simple folks. Rates are LOW, the economy is cranking, the Olympics are coming and life is good in B.C. If you're sitting on the sidelines, maybe now's the time to get in the game!
