Vancouver is truly the best place to live in the spring time. Canadians are known the world over for loving the sun (we see so little of it, we have to take full advantage!) and even though Vancouverites enjoy the best weather in Canada, we still hit the beach whenever we can. What does this have to do with Real Estate? Did you know that the prices for convertibles rise in the summer? Well the same thing happens with Real Estate generally. When the sun is shining people are happier, apartments look nicer and more people are out doing open houses. Spring is a time of new starts, and nothing gets the motors running better than new digs. My point? That if you’re thinking of selling, now’s the time to do it.

There was some reservation whether the market would take their asking price, but in my opinion, it’s best to try first and adapt later on. Sure enough, we had multiple offers, and finally settled on the strongest one. It took all of a week to close a deal, and you know it’s a good deal when everyone involved walks away with a smile on their face. I also know that they are both very excited to be this week’s success story… J
